Welcome to the website of Dr Kenneth Owen. I am Associate Professor of History at the University of Illinois Springfield, where I teach classes on political history, early American history, and the use of digital media.

My book, Political Community in Revolutionary Pennsylvania, will be published by Oxford University Press in Fall 2018. I received my BA, MSt and DPhil from The Queen’s College, Oxford. Before moving to Illinois, I taught at the University of Sussex and at Ohio University.
